Some New Jersey residents say that they are fed up with winter as two more storm systems approach the state on the eve of the first day of spring.
Tuesday and Wednesday’s storms could bring about 6 inches of snow to parts of New Jersey, particularly in Ocean County.
“I’m just done with it. I don’t want it anymore,” says Julia Seltzer.
“Sounds horrible. But its New Jersey so you have to be used to it,” says Ludwig Cruz.
Spring officially starts Tuesday, and places like Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach are planning on going ahead with their annual spring celebrations – such as an Easter egg hunt on Sunday.
As the storm approaches, Toms River and Ocean County DPW crews say that they are ready to make sure roads are passable. They have plenty of rock salt and the plows are ready to go.
The snow is expected to last through Wednesday evening.
