CT judiciary committee considers creating opioid court

State lawmakers are considering a bill that creates a court designated for opioid cases.
The state judiciary committee may study whether to create an entirely separate court, an idea that has already been put to use in New York.
The idea has received some push back from local treatment centers as well as the judicial branch, which says courts already offer plenty of programs to fight drug addictions.
