WALLINGFORD -

Wallingford police say a car crash led officers to find nearly 600 bags of heroin.

Police responded to the two-car collision on Friday afternoon.

When officers questioned one of the drivers about a bulge in her jacket, she allegedly became combative.

That's when police say several bundles of heroin fell out of her pocket.

She's now facing drug charges.
