Officials say a contracted guard in the Norwalk School District has been fired after allegedly making suggestive comments to a student.
The newly hired guard was working at West Rocks Middle School when he allegedly made the comments last week.
He was among the guards who are being brought in through outside contractor Century Protective Services to protect schools in the district.
Norwalk School District says that the company is the same contractor that provides security at the town's City Hall and library.
The parent of the student involved says that her daughter is frightened following the apparent incident.
A spokesperson at the Norwalk Police Department says they are investigating, but no arrests have been made.
