A young Fairfield resident won a spot on the Creative Crew at the Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester.
Christian Santa, 9, will have the opportunity to learn from master builders and test out new rides and games at the theme park.
He joins 11 other kids from the area. He was selected after filling out an application and submitting a video of his Lego hand creation.
"I jumped out of my seat, ran around the house and opened the door and screamed 'Ahhhh! I won,'" he says.
Marisa Santa, Christian’s mother, says that he started to put Legos together before he could read the instructions.
"All of these years of stepping on Legos on the floor, it's nice to see it finally come to something like this," she said.
Christian says that his favorite thing about Legos is that he can make anything.
He will also receive a year of free passes to the park.
Representatives from Legoland Discovery Center say that members are chosen based on their creativity and enthusiasm.
The new Creative Crew Members are between 5 and 10 years old.
