BRIDGEPORT -

Two people and a dog were stabbed Saturday morning during a fight over dog waste, Bridgeport police say.

Investigators say the attacker was angry that a man passing by let his dog use his lawn as a bathroom.

They say the property owner then pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the man, his friend and the dog.

None of the victims' injuries were considered serious.

The man was charged with assault and cruelty to animals.
