TRUMBULL -

A Fairfield teen was arrested for allegedly sending a threatening message featuring a gun on social media.

Police say Noah Landis sent a photo of himself holding a sub-compact machine pistol to another student at Cooperative Educational Services in Trumbull.

They say the student made a joke about Landis shooting up the school, to which Landis responded "no promises."

Investigators say Landis did not have any weapons and that Landis thought he was sending the message to a fellow gun enthusiast.
