New poll finds Gov. Kean as state’s most beloved governor

A New Monmouth University poll finds former Gov. Tom Kean as the state's most beloved governor.
In the survey, 45 percent of those asked gave Kean a favorable rating, and 12 percent gave him an unfavorable rating. Monmouth calls that a "net favorability rating" of 33 percent.
The state's most recent former governor, Chris Christie, has a 22 percent favorable rating and a 71 percent unfavorable rating. The net there is negative 49 percent.
Gov. Phil Murphy is third on the list, with a 16 percent net favorability rating.
