Homeless shelter gets donation of over 850 pairs of underwear

A Stamford homeless shelter has received a large donation of a daily necessity.
The Undies Project has donated 654 pairs of men's and 210 pairs of women's underwear to the New Covenant.
The garments will available through the center's shower program.
Anyone who is homeless or on the waiting list at an area shelter can make an appointment to use center's showers, and will now get a new pair of underwear.
Throughout the year, the Undies Project holds product drives and fundraisers to collect and purchase the underwear.
The New Covenant shelter is the 15th organization the Undies Project has donated to.
