A superior court judge has thrown out a negligence lawsuit filed by the families of two children killed in the Sandy Hook shootings.
The parents want the town and school district held responsible for their childrens’ deaths.
They say lax security allowed gunman Adam Lanza to get into the school.
The court ruled the school and town could not be held liable because security measures taken at individual schools are discretionary.
The families are expected to appeal.
