Students at one school district are passionate about not falling victim to budget cuts.

The Board of Education in Easton voted to cut after school clubs beginning next school year.

Helen Keller Middle School seventh-grader Tate English started a GoFundMe page last week in hope to raise money.

It's already raised more than $7,000.

The president of the PTA says 75 percent of the students at Helen Keller take part in extracurricular activities.

Some include the garden club and volleyball.

On top of the money already raised, the PTA says it's pledging $10,000

They're hopeful the students will reach their $22,000 goal needed to keep the programs.
