Off-duty state trooper killed in crash in Pennsylvania

An off-duty New Jersey state trooper was killed in a crash in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Officials says that Trooper Brian McNally, 30, was driving on Interstate-78 in Berks County when he hit a tractor-trailer in a construction zone. Both of the vehicles caught fire, according to police.
McNally lived in Bedminster and served in the Marine Corps Reserve. He was on his way home from a duty weekend, according to officials.
State police leaders and Gov. Phil Murphy expressed their condolences after McNally’s death.
The crash is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police.
