New Exit 14A now open on Turnpike with major improvements

The new Exit 14A is now open on the New Jersey Turnpike with major improvements.
Construction on the interchange in Bayonne finished three months early.
The exit features wider lanes and ramps to accommodate more vehicles.
Gov. Phil Murphy says the improvements will help the local and state economy.
"14A can now be an instrument for this areas future and not an impediment to it,” says Gov. Murphy. “This is a critical infrastructure investment that will benefit the tens of thousands of people that travel through Bayonne and Jersey City every day, not to mention residents who live in the immediate area and the futures of everyone who make their living here in Hudson County."
The makeover was initially projected to cost $160 million, but the final price tag was $286 million.
Toll money paid for the project.
