Officials mull new name for Bridgeport school

BRIDGEPORT -

Bridgeport school officials are looking to re-name a school.

Officials want to change the name of Warren Harding High School once it relocates to a new $80 million building next fall.

The Board of Ed set to take up the issue Tuesday.

A committee voted earlier this month to keep the current name.

The school was named after President Harding, whose administration in the early 1920s was marred by scandal.
