Man critical after motorcycle collides with minivan in Stamford

STAMFORD -

A Stamford man was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a minivan Monday on East Main Street in Stamford.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. Police say the minivan driver was turning left onto Quintard Terrace when he struck the bike. They say the 22-year-old motorcyclist was speeding.

Police say the driver of the minivan is expected to be OK.

The crash remains under investigation.
