Bridgeport students went to the Hall Neighborhood House Thursday to learn how to identify and fight bullying.
The elementary students got out of class for an afternoon of music, dancing and food, along with their anti-bullying lessons.
U.S. Rep. Jim Himes says the first step to teaching kids is engaging them. The executive director of Hall Neighborhood House says he can see the impact.
"Fighting or being aggressive doesn't solve anything," he says. "One of the best things is stepping away."
