The Westport library cut the ribbon on the newly completed Riverwalk Level and Interim Library on Monday. 

It's the first phase of construction designed to transform the library into a state-of-the-art facility.

The second phase in the construction project will tacke the main and upper levels of the library and should take about a year to complete.
