The Connecticut Department of Transportation held a public meeting Tuesday night regarding its projects in Norwalk.
Officials spoke about the replacement of the Ann Street Railroad Bridge on the Danbury Line, as well as the Walk Bridge Replacement Project.
The public got the opportunity to ask questions and speak one-on-one with project representatives.
Norwalk Harbor Keeper members filed a lawsuit months ago against the DOT in an effort for them to redo plans to replace the walk bridge.
"We were able to come up with a better alignment that allowed us to improve safety, operational features," an official says.
The design team worked with 3D models, exploring alternatives and getting feedback from the design advisory committee.
