<p>A Bridgeport woman is free on bond this morning after police say she brought a knife to the Trumbull Mall and tried to stab her ex-boyfriend.</p>

Bridgeport woman free on bond after mall arrest
A Bridgeport woman is free on bond this morning after police say she brought a knife to the Trumbull Mall and tried to stab her ex-boyfriend.
Police say 20-year-old Janaya Bennett attacked the man as he opened a shop at the mall last Thursday.
Police say the man was able to take the knife, but Bennett then began to choke him and went for some scissors nearby.
They say she left, but then came back to the store, where police were waiting for her.
