WATERBURY -

A Waterbury man is in custody after running over a group of geese - apparently on purpose.

Police say 70-year-old Moses Wilson illegally passed two cars on the shoulder while they  were waiting for the geese to cross North Main Street.

Wilson allegedly killed at least one of the babies.

He faces multiple charges, including cruelty to animals and passing on the right.

He's scheduled to be in court later this month.
