MILFORD -

A Bridgeport woman is behind bars after Milford police say she stole from one store and made a scene in another.

The incident occurred at the Connecticut Post Mall, where police say Rhoda Jones, 55, began screaming at officers inside Macy's.

They say the screaming began when police asked her questions about the theft of $425 in goods from the Target on the other side of the mall.

Authorities say they later learned Jones was wanted on charges of not showing up to a court appearance in connection with an unrelated robbery charge.
