Best of Brooklyn: Brooklyn-Phono vinyl records

A Sunset Park factory still makes vinyl records.
Brooklyn-Phono is a record-pressing factory run by a husband and wife.
It's a business they say has been growing for over nearly two decades.
They say they cater to the indie music scene, but accept every type of genre.
Their clients including everyone from mainstream artists and musicians to art galleries and fashion designers.
Clients often come to them for the unique sound that vinyl records can produce, compared to digital music found online.
"When you receive a record, it's also interactive, it doesn't play itself you have to open it up, which is always fun, and place it on the turntable and drop the needle on the record," Fern Vernon-Bernich, the co-owner says.
The owners say while vinyl sales are on the rise, they're investing in machinery to help make production faster.
