Studies show climate change could impact coffee industry

Your favorite cup o’ joe could be in jeopardy.

Scientists say climate change poses a huge threat to the industry.

A recent study from the journal “Climatic Change” claims that half the land around the world currently used to produce high-quality coffee could be unproductive by 2050.

In response, coffee companies are boosting their presence in coffee-growing countries like Costa Rica and working directly with small farms to help them adapt to the changing climate.
