WINSTED -

Officials say a fire destroyed a home in Winsted over the weekend.

They say multiple departments responded to the flames on Torringford Street.

Friends of the family who lived in the home say everyone made it out OK, but they lost all of their belongings.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help.

Winchester School officials say they are also setting up a collection.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
