Democratic state Senate candidate kicks off campaign

A Democratic state Senate candidate begun his campaign over the weekend in Bridgeport.  

Dennis Bradley celebrated the start of his campaign in the 23rd Senate District with the opening of his headquarters on Barnum Avenue. 

Bradley is running for the seat being vacated by Ed Gomes.

He announced he was pre-approved this week for a state financing grant, which will give him $84,000 in campaign cash.

The 23rd Senate District covers most of Bridgeport and part of Stratford.
