Newsday: 10 correction officers injured after fight at Nassau County Jail

Officials say ten correction officers have been hurt after being attacked by inmates at the Nassau County jail in East Meadow.
Officials say a violent fight broke out in a dormitory while trying to locate an inmate on Monday, according to Newsday.
According to officials, it started when a Bloods gang member assaulted a corrections officer and then other inmates and officers joined in.
The officers were taken to the hospital with back and knee injuries.
Jail officials would not say if anyone was arrested.
