ROXBURY -

State police say they’ve arrested two suspects who were seen breaking into a car in Roxbury Sunday.

The two male suspects were reported by a resident who saw them rummaging through his vehicle on Southbury Road.

They fled in a silver Sedan, but police say they were able to locate and arrest them.

Police say they found burglary tools, numerous credit cards and women's purses in the car.

Police say car break-ins have occurred on River Road, Falls Road and Southbury Road in Roxbury and on Perkins Road and Brown Brook Road in Southbury.

These areas all have reported burglaries.

Troopers are investigating and ask that anyone in those areas that notice items missing from their vehicles to contact police.
