GREENWICH -

A mail carrier in Greenwich is accused of stealing from the packages he was supposed to deliver.

Police say Gregory Ferigno admitted to taking at least $80 in merchandise from packages mailed out of the Cos Cob post office.

They say a co-worker became suspicious after seeing pieces of mail inside Ferigno's personal car.

Inspectors also found undelivered mail hidden inside Ferigno's work truck.
