Teens learn the art of tattoos at Fairfield library

FAIRFIELD -

Teens in Fairfield are getting a chance to design their own henna tattoos.

The Fairfield Public Library held a Henna Tattoos for Teens program Tuesday.

Teens learned about the history of henna, and then designed their own tattoos with the help of a local art student.

Organizers say offering different activities like these helps bring students into the library during the summer.

The library will hold another henna program Thursday at 2 p.m.
