A  Milford tradition continued this weekend as the Milford Rotary Club held its 42nd annual Lobster Bake.
The event, dubbed Milford's "best party of the summer," took place at Milford Boat Works.
Attendees were treated to a seafood dinner with all the fixings, in addition to raffles and entertainment.
Proceeds from the event will be distributed back into the Milford community by the club.
“We do this every year, we raise money for the community; in fact next year we'll be awarding $25,000 in scholarships to high school students and this money funds that and other operations," said club member Paul Mangels.
This year’s event attracted more than 1,400 guests.
