A blue macaw named "Prince" has been reunited with its owners after flying away from home.
Prince was discovered high in a tree in Yonkers last week. News 12 tracked down the owner after receiving an email about the tropical bird.
Prince wound up about a mile away from home, near the backyard of Everaldo Ribiero, who happens to have a red macaw that looks just like Prince's mate, "Corazon," which means "heart" in Spanish.
Prince and Corazon, who belong to the Burgos family, have been inseparable for seven years. The two flew away when owner Luis Burgos tried to trim their nails. Corazon was quickly returned, but Prince remained loose for several days.
