MILFORD -

Milford Mayor Benjamin Blake held his annual State of the City address Thursday.

The event was part of a luncheon at the Milford Yacht Club, where the mayor also presented the Distinguished Milford Citizen Award.

Among the topics highlighted in the address was the three consecutive years of tax cuts for residents in the city.

In addition, Blake says he is proud of the economic growth of the city and what it means for the future of Milford.

Blake also says Canadian geese and their droppings have become a serious issue in Milford, and that his office receives more calls about geese than anything else.
