Stamford officials are celebrating the creation of new housing to help the homeless.
The ribbon was cut on the first phase of the Lighthouse Project at Pacific House, where two houses will be home to nine men who previously had nowhere to go.
Pacific House Executive Director Rafael Pagan said, “Equally as important is affordability and this is what this home provides; is no one pays more than 30 percent of their income.
Pacific House is currently planning on developing two other housing developments for 2019 – Parkview North and the Janie Wilson House that will house 19 residents.
