Police investigate after 15-year-old with firearm is shot by 2 officers

An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was shot by police in Queens Friday night.
Police tell News 12 that the teenager was firing a gun at a crowd of people in Far Rockaway at around 11 p.m.
They say two officers demanded he drop the weapon. It's not clear whether he refused, but police say the officers shot him multiple times.
The boy was taken to Long island Jewish Hospital where is listed in stable condition.
The two officers who shot him were evaluated at a nearby hospital.
