Seniors in Brownsville are concerned for their lives every time they try to reach the B60 stop on Prospect Place and Rockaway Avenue.

Seniors say getting to the bus stop was not always dangerous. They say a change by the MTA is to blame. The stop used to be at a different location on Eastern Parkway.

Now, seniors have to walk up a steep hill and cross a busy thoroughfare like Eastern Parkway. The seniors say to get across the roadway before the light changes is nerve-racking.

MTA officials say the stop was moved to accommodate a new left turn lane for all vehicles.
