The cleanup continues in Little Falls and Totowa today after floodwaters over the weekend left residents without homes and their family items badly damaged.
PSE&G was on the scene to help residents whose natural gas service was impacted by the flooding.
Cynthia Straffin returned from a hospital stay to find the remnants of the muddy floodwater in her car.
“It’s not as bad as other people,” says Straffin. “It’s not as deep. I look around and I’m better off than most.”
The mobile unit will be at 160 Paterson Ave. in Little Falls.
It will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through this Friday.
Residents can get information about when their gas service may be restored and make appointments to relight their gas appliances when it’s safe.
