Police ID stabbing suspect in the Bronx

Police have identified a man accused of stabbing another man inside of a NYCHA complex in the Bronx. 
Edwin Romero, 32, is accused of stabbing the 37-year-old man in the neck and body with a knife on August 12 inside of the Adams Houses around 3 p.m.
Police say Romero has an extensive criminal history with at least 12 prior arrests.
Neighbors tell News 12 their neighborhood is usually quiet but there has been an uptick in violence this summer.
