The Stamford Board of Realtors is donating more than 100 backpacks to three elementary schools in the city.

The board was on hand at Roxbury Elementary to deliver 48 backpacks.

Roxbury Elementary Principal Mark Bonasera said, “We do have families who greatly benefit from donations of school supplies like backpacks and so this is a great opportunity for us to serve our families."

The board also promotes education through scholarships. This year it awarded a dozen to high school seniors.
