Teachers were busy all week long going to Pemberley Designer Consignments in Monroe to buy new clothes ahead of the start of school.
Leslie Troy owns the Main Street shop that sells hundreds of items for women and juniors, including dresses, jewelry and handbags.
Troy says teachers and administrative staff often come in for their back-to-school shopping because of the variety of items from which to choose. She says some garments, like sweaters, are especially essential for them to have in their wardrobe.
Troy also recommends that teachers make sure they have a pair of comfortable shoes.
