Independent candidate for governor secures spot on ballot

An independent candidate in the Connecticut gubernatorial race has secured a spot on the November ballot.
Oz Griebel will face Democrat Ned Lamont and Republican Bob Stefanowksi.
His opponents are multimillionaires with plenty of resources for their campaigns, but Griebel says money isn't everything.
"Tom Foley spent a lot of money -- of his money -- in 2010," says Griebel. "Linda McMahon spent a ton of money in two races.  Both to no avail."
Griebel's name may sound familiar to some -- he ran for governor as a Republican eight years ago.
This time around, he's calling himself an alternative to the two-party system. His running mate is a Democrat.
