Monroe police seek public assistance in bank robbery

Monroe police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a bank.

Police posted a picture from the People’s Bank in the Stop and Shop on Route 111.

The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Police did not say if the robber had a weapon.

A $500 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe police.
