A Bridgeport man is still holding out hope for his sister who went missing 25 years ago.
Omayra Velasquez, who was last seen on Iranistan Avenue and Gregory Street in 1993, would have been 46 years old on Thursday.
Adam Velasquez, 53, says he marks the anniversary of his sister's disappearance by putting up missing persons posters around the city.
Police say the disappearance case has gone cold, but they still welcome tips from the public.
Velasquez says he can "feel in his bones" that his sister is not dead.
He also says didn't learn about her disappearance until after the fact because he was in jail.
Police took DNA samples from Velasquez two years ago, but no matches came up in the national database of missing persons.
