Medical examiners say Connecticut is on track to see increases in fentanyl-related deaths this year.
The number is expected to increase by 9 percent. The increase is based on numbers gathered from overdoses in the first six months of this year.
If the rate continues on this course, there will be 740 such deaths in 2018. That's an increase from the previous year's total of 677.
