A car accident in Stratford sent at least one person to the hospital with serious injuries Sunday.

Police say it happened at Success and Broadbridge avenues around 12 p.m. when a vehicle somehow lost control and crashed into a tree.

Part of the intersection was closed off for hours as investigators collected evidence and spoke with witnesses.
