FEMA to test emergency alert system later this week

President Donald Trump may be sending you a text message later this week.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is testing a new warning with many major cellphone carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, participating.
The message will be titled "Presidential Alert," but it's only a test.
The goal is to alert people to emergencies, such as missing children and severe weather.
The message is expected to go out Thursday afternoon.
FEMA will also test the emergency alert system on TV stations and radio.
