FAIRFIELD -

A Fairfield man is facing threatening and harassment charges this morning.

Police say John Colavito was harassing another man over a business dispute involving an annuity.

The two had a meeting in July about it.

Since then Colavito emailed the victim 54 times.

Officials say 21 of those were sent in one day and many had threats.

Colavito was released on $35,000 bond.

He's set to appear in court next month.
