Teen taken off life support, dies after Stamford shooting

STAMFORD -

A teenager is dead after a shooting in Stamford Thursday.

Marcus Hall, 16, was shot near the Southwood Square Apartments around 11 p.m.

He was taken off life support on Saturday.

Police say a murder investigation is ongoing.

Hall's death marks the third homicide in Stamford this year.

The news of the 16-year-old's death came as a stop the violence rally and vigil were held Sunday afternoon at Jackie Robinson Park.
