The Stepping Stones Museum for Children helped recognize Hispanic and Latin American culture Sunday.
The Sabor Together Festival aimed to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by introducing children to Latin American cultures.
"We want the day to be inclusive, representative and welcoming of all the cultures from Latin America that are here in Norwalk," said Kristen Welton, of the Stepping Stones Museum for Children. "And we know that exposure to different cultures is priceless to children, so we want to be a big part of that."
Parents in attendance say it’s never too early to immerse a child in cultures other than their own.
On top of bilingual events, attendees were also welcome to see traditional Latin dances and food.
Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
