The family of a Bridgeport woman killed in a car accident Friday night spoke publicly for the first time Sunday about their loss.
Taylor Allen, the 20-year-old daughter of 45-year-old Denise Fogle, tells News 12 Connecticut she is going to focus on positivity and celebrate her mother's spirit.
Police say Fogle was killed when her minivan collided with another vehicle on Seaview Avenue as she was turning off Holly Street.
Allen says it was an abrupt end to a beautiful life, but she's happy to know her mom had been doing what she loved - working with special needs adults at the Kennedy Center.
The family is asking for the public's help paying for the funeral.  Allen says that a GoFundMe has been set up to raise money for funeral expenses.
