Man remains hospitalized after Wilton motorcycle, SUV crash

WILTON -

Police in Wilton say a man remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with an SUV.

It happened around 1 p.m. Sunday on Route 106 near Trails End Road, and police had the area blocked off for around five hours.

Officers arrived on scene and found the motorcycle driver with serious injuries.

He was transported to the hospital.

According to police, the driver of the SUV stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Police say they usually aren't called to that area for crashes, but say many drivers speed.
